Daniel Young is a pragmatic optimist. He sees technology as a catalyst for good.

He is an international expert, with 18 years’ hands-on experience building technology ventures, especially in the health care sector.

Daniel directs his professional concentration towards cultivating innovative digital businesses. His primary focus is with digital health and life science ventures seeking to advance the quality and delivery of care using innovative AI/ML and hardware-enabled solutions. He works with teams on product readiness, regulatory, commercialization and go-to-market strategies.

But his interests go beyond digital health, into areas where the same kind of technologies can be used as a catalyst to empower people to do great things.

With each endeavor he undertakes, Daniel strives to amplifies the impact of his clients with his knowledge, background, and tenacious commitment to producing results.

He actively involved with Bold Works and Digital Health Works, a health-tech commercialization agency.

Daniel works with technology transfer offices (TTOs); startups; ventures and corporates; and medical research institutions to find, quantify, and commercialize opportunities in digital health and the life sciences.

Daniel is a speaker, thought leader, and advocate of “innovation construction”. He is an active supporter of entrepreneurship and thoughtful product development by mentoring founders, designers, researchers, and clinicians in various startup accelerator programs in the US 🇺🇸 and Germany 🇩🇪.

Outside of his professional life, he enjoys being a father, reading about obscure economic histories, aviation (he is an instrument-rated private pilot 🛩️), touring bicycles, and skiing (where he was an instructor).
